So I have been studying Bonsai for a long time and finally started with succulents. I started with Adenium Obesum and currently have about 5 plants in different stages. I haven't made the jump to actual trees yet I guess you could say I am a little afraid to spend the money on a tree and then end up killing the tree. The first Tree is an Adenium Obesum which was tip pruned about a week ago. It looks really healthy but has not put on new leaves yet. It had been doing so well that the caudex has swelled up to twice its size from this picture.. Hopefully in a weelk or two I can post new pictures of the tree. The second is a Adeium Somalese that I bought a year ago then staged in this pot. I believe that I exposed the caudex and roots to fast so the plant wasn't able to receive enough water. It looked shriveled and week. So I buried it in a larger pot in hopes that it does better.
